These e-mail messages are intended to cause some action to occur,
such as subscribing the FROM address to a mailing list. Commands are
usually one or two word phrases which should be entered in the
SUBJECT field of the message. When appropriate, the body of the
message is searched as well.
- Subscribe
- The subscribe command is used to add a new address to the
normal subscription list, or move an address from the digest
list to the normal list.

- Search strings: subsc, susc, set mail, set no-digest
- Subscribe Digest
- The subscribe digest command is used to add a new address
to the digest subscription list, or move an address from the
normal list to the digest list.

- Search strings: subscribe digest, set digest
- Unsubscribe
- The unsubscribe command is used to remove an existing
address from both the normal and digest subscription lists.

- Search strings: unsub, unsus, signoff, un-sub, set
no-mail
- Digests
- The digest command is used to request a list of digests for
the past 30 days, along with instructions for retrieving them
via e-mail.

- Help
- The help command is used to request the help file for the
list.
